1. Who we are
Echolyt ("we" or "us") is a market voice and opinion insight platform for B2B brand teams. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit our marketing site, request a demo, or use the product as an authenticated user.
2. Data we collect
- Contact data — name, work email, company, role, country and any free-text you provide when requesting a demo.
- Account data — email address, hashed password, authentication provider identifiers, session tokens.
- Product usage — pages viewed, features used, listening projects opened, actions taken. Captured via first-party analytics proxied through our own domain (no third-party cookies for tracking).
- Ingested public content — publicly available social posts and comments Echolyt fetches on behalf of your organization for VOC analysis. We do not fetch private, protected or gated content.
- Support communications — email content when you reach out to sales or support.
3. How we use your data
- To provide, secure and improve the Echolyt product.
- To respond to demo requests and sales inquiries.
- To detect abuse and enforce our Terms of Service.
- To comply with legal obligations (tax, audit, court orders).
4. Legal bases (EEA / UK visitors)
We rely on contract necessity to provide the service you request, legitimate interest for product analytics and prospect outreach, and consent where required by local law.
5. Sharing & sub-processors
We use enterprise-grade sub-processors to run the service, including hosting, databases, transactional email, product analytics, and the CRM provider a customer enables for its workspace. We do not sell personal data.
6. Data retention
- Demo requests are retained for up to 24 months.
- Account data is retained for the life of your subscription.
- Product usage logs are retained for 12 months, then aggregated.
- Ingested VOC content follows the retention window agreed in your contract (default 24 months rolling).
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data. To exercise any of these, submit a request through Contact us and note the request type in your message. Enterprise customers should route data-subject requests through their Master Services Agreement contact.
8. International transfers
We may transfer personal data between regions to operate the service. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and equivalent legal mechanisms. EU / UK / APAC data residency is available on Enterprise plans.
9. Children
Echolyt is a B2B product. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
